1. Who is responsible
This policy covers the website fratius.com. The Fratius app has its own privacy policy.
2. Opening the website
The website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google. When you open a page, your browser sends data that the server processes automatically: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system.
We need this to deliver the website and to keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Google may process data in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and Google's data processing terms also include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We don't combine this data with other data.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. The fonts are stored on our own server, so opening the website sends no data to font providers.
4. The request form ("Start your 30 days")
When you send the form, we receive: the plan you picked, your company's name and country, how many stations and vans you run, your first and last name, your work email and your mobile number, and whether you want to hear when AI damage detection is ready.
We use this to answer your request and to set up your trial. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you tick "Tell me when AI damage detection is ready", we email you about it once it's ready; the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
Your request is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (part of Firebase), on servers in the USA, and a copy is sent to our mailbox info@fratius.com. To stop automated spam, the server keeps a one-way code made from your IP address for up to 24 hours; it doesn't store the IP address itself.
We delete your request once it's dealt with, at the latest 12 months after our last contact, unless it leads to a contract. Then the retention periods for business records apply.
You don't have to send the form, but we can't answer a request without a way to reach you.
5. Email
When you write to us, we use your message and your contact details to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for questions about a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our mailbox is provided by Google Workspace, a service of Google, which processes these emails on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
6. Links to other services
The website links to the Fratius web app and, once they're available, to the App Store and Google Play. Their own privacy policies apply when you open them.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have wrong data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
- have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR)
- have the processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR)
- receive your data in a common format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw a consent at any time, for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
Write to info@fratius.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work (Art. 77 GDPR).
8. No automated decisions
We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
